Training and development to inspire and motivate

The Training Exchange is an independent, specialist training and consultancy company with associates who are all experts in their fields. Jo Bush and Jools Hesketh established the Training Exchange in 1997. Since then the organisation has continued to grow and establish its reputation. Based in Bristol, we now have a 20 year track record of providing consistently high quality training, learning and professional development opportunities to public and voluntary sector services across the UK.

The company has grown from roots within the fields of community, youth, health and social work. The teamís experience within these fields has driven us to recognise and remove barriers to learning. Our response is to design courses that incorporate different learning styles, value diversity and encourage participation.

Over the past 20 years The Training Exchange has successfully delivered and evaluated single and multi-agency training programmes for Local Authorities, Community Safety Partnerships, NHS Partnerships and many local, regional and national organisations.

A list of the organisations we have worked with in the last two years can be found here.

Our training attracts people from a wide range of backgrounds including: drugs & alcohol, mental health, criminal justice, public health, primary care, child & adult social care, housing & homelessness, education, workplace wellbeing, youth & community.

We understand the processes involved in working in partnership to plan, design, deliver, review and evaluate training and development programmes which have a sustainable impact on individuals and organisations.

Alongside our regular delivery of training courses we have continually sought funding for innovative projects or been commissioned to develop and deliver specific pieces of work. Some of our most recent work is listed below:
