Notes:Comprised of 2 x 2.5 hour live webinars, plus 2 hours self-directed learning on an online learning hub, and 2 hours reading, this online version of the one day Youth Mental Health First Aid course qualifies you as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion.
Course Outline
Aimed at anyone who supports young people 8-18 the course develops understanding of common mental health issues, alongside confidence to spot signs of mental ill health in children and young people and guide them to a place of support.
You'll receive a comprehensive manual with Mental Health First Aid guidance to help prevent mental health issues, to support a child or young person if they are already struggling or to respond to a mental health crisis.
