  • Very useful course. Coming from a background where I’ve not really had much knowledge or contact with people dealing with these issues, it was easy to understand and made me want to find out more.
  • The trainer knew her subject and was very articulate. A very well put together information manual. An excellent piece of awareness training – I learnt a lot. I will make use of what I have learnt in my workplace. Excellent course – very well facilitated.
  • I can use what I have learnt in everyday client assessment and when in consultation with other agencies. The trainer was able to be flexible while still working within the course framework. This was very helpful for an experienced group.
  • Very informative course put across in a way that was easily understood. I feel I have a greater understanding of mental health and more confidence in supporting service users and applying Mental Health First Aid.
  • All aspects of the 2 days were useful. Trainer was particularly effective and knowledgeable. New material particularly on psychosis and identification of ‘mental illnesses’.
  • Definition of mental health. The overview of the continuum of mental health with the breakdown of ‘wellbeing, stressed and mental illness’. Looking at alternative positive messages to normalise mental health issues. Signposting to the many professional agencies that can help mental health issues.
  • Great course- refreshed knowledge base and learnt new and up to date ways of supporting individuals with complex mental health issues.
