What people say

"Really interesting and thought-provoking training. Phil was knowledgeable and engaging throughout, and the course offered a good mix of theory and practical intervention tools that felt relevant to frontline work. Particularly the focus on identifying high-risk situations, behaviour chains, cravings management and coping strategies. The course linked theory to practice well and provided interventions that could be adapted for young people as well as adults. The worksheets and structured approaches around relapse planning, triggers, and self-efficacy were especially helpful."

Young Person's substance use worker, Choices West, Barod, May 2026

"Fantastic two days! Extremely helpful to go through the interventions in the pack and have the opportunity to practise those skills in groups with Phil there for guidance. I've learnt a lot and I'm feeling more confident in my new recovery role. Thank you Phil!"
