Explore definitions, models and creative tools to facilitate reflective practice processes into all aspects of service delivery.

This is a 1/2 day course delivered online (for individuals).

A dynamic and interactive day for those supporting or managing staff. Explore definitions and models to inform possible approaches and share ideas on integrating reflective practice into all aspects of service delivery.

Through discussion, observation and practising a number of creative tools, participants will develop confidence and leave better equipped to facilitate reflective practice and to support others in doing so.

    This training is available for individual staff members on our open programme in Bristol (you come to us) and for teams in-house (we come to you).

    Also currently available (online for teams).

    Course aims

    To become familiar with 4 ‘models’ or approaches to reflective practice

    To consider participant’s individual approach and practice as a ‘reflective practitioner’ and to begin to think about facilitating this with others in the workplace

    To provide an opportunity for some fresh perspectives, creativity and sharing of ideas relating to reflective practice

    Course objectives

    By the end of the course participants will have had opportunities to:

    • Develop and refresh thinking and understanding of the concept of and commitment to, using the process of reflective practice
    • Gain insight into 6 ideas/techniques used in undertaking reflective practice – for self and others
    • Create a ‘checklist’ of useful questions
