Develop understanding and practical interventions to support individuals with life difficulties associated with personality disorder.

This is available as a 1/2 or 1 day online course delivered online (for individuals).

Understand what personality disorders are, the possible causes, 'symptoms' and associated life difficulties in order to provide services and support that can make a positive difference to people's lives.

Drawing upon personal experiences of receiving a personality disorder diagnosis, the course offers up to date evidence and relevant practical interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing.

Useful in my area of work, and now I recognise the difficulty in diagnosis in alcohol dependence. Brilliant content. Brilliant trainer. Very useful information and delivered with good knowledge, appropriateness and relevance."

    Relief Support Worker, Second Step

"I found this day very informative, helpful and it has definitely changed the way I can work with service users. A lot of ground to cover and I thought this was facilitated very well, with good emphasis on group discussion which is always better than just being 'talked at'."

"The whole day - a great learning curve. I hadn't much knowledge prior to the day and have got a huge amount to go away with and think over."
