To develop some basic tools for emotional regulation.

Objectives:

By the end of the course participants will have had opportunities to:

  • Gain a basic understanding of how the nervous system works, and ways in which it can be impacted by trauma
  • Develop confidence in recognising the different nervous system states
  • Try out some practical tools for emotional regulation
  • Gain a basic understanding of how nervous systems interact with each other, and how ‘co-regulation’ works
