Advocacy skills - children & young people
Develop your understanding, skills and confidence to be an advocate with children & young people.
This is a 1 day in-house course (we come to you).
Exploring the difference between advocacy and other types of support, this course develops understanding of advocacy and the roles and responsibilities of an advocate with children & young people.
Participants will identify and practice using a range advocacy skills, explore good practice issues in relation to practical case studies, explore pitfalls and challenges and discuss personal and professional boundaries to create good practice guidance for this area of work.
