Harm reduction
Develop knowledge and understanding of harm reduction practices to reduce drug related harm.
This is a 1 day in-house course (we come to you).
Embedded in the history and importance of harm reduction, participants develop knowledge and understanding to reduce drug related harms.
Learn about the complications of high risk injecting including injuries and blood borne virus; identify overdose risks, responses to overdose and overdose prevention; and how to encourage changes in behaviour and deliver harm reduction messages.

- Learn about the history and importance of harm reduction
- Find out about high risk and safer injecting
- Understand overdose prevention and overdose response
- Explore options for harm reduction
- Discuss how to deliver harm reduction messages
