The course provides space to develop practice using the visual medium of node link maps. Using simple cognitive principles and problem solving techniques the maps provide a structure for communicating, recording and reviewing psychosocial interventions and key work sessions.

This is a 1 day in-house course (we come to you).

Building on the International Treatment Effectiveness Project (ITEP) this course explores a range of node link mapping tools for use by key workers across the drug treatment system and throughout the health and social care sector.

National Treatment Agency evaluation found that employing ITEP and node-link mapping in psychosocial interventions resulted in, clients experiencing a better rapport with their key workers, increased levels of client participation; and higher rates of service retention and completion.

Currently only available as a 1 day in-house course (we come to you)

"Everything! Such an effective treatment tool to use, and so simple. Every part of training was interesting and useful, explanation of how maps work, different maps and how they can support clients. I can’t wait to implement maps into my everyday practice. No part of the training was not useful. Brilliant!!!"
