Mental health awareness

Drawing on a social model of understanding mental health issues and user perspectives, increase your awareness and understanding of mental health issues to better understand and support individuals experiencing emotional distress and/or mental health problems.
This is a 1 day in-house course (we come to you).
Develop your awareness of mental health; gain ideas and guidance for promoting wellbeing, and understand how to respond to difficulties that can arise.
The course focuses on the social, psychological and biological aspects of mental health including factors related to diversity. The views of people with ‘lived’ experience of emotional or mental health ‘issues’ will be central, as well as up to date information on approaches and services.
